Anemone Splitting !!!

Hello all,

Just wanted to post a couple of pics of my anemone splitting. I happened to be walking by the tank and it shocked me. I looked and sure enough he is splitting. My Clown is going crazy trying to figure out what is going on. I will try to post more pics when he has completed his journey...

hey.. wow.. my guys have spilt mulitiple times, but I've never seen it. i always happens at night for me.. awesome!

hey, quick question, how long did it take the guys to split? are we talking 15 minutes, a couple hours, half a day, etc?

How long did the splitting take?

It took about and hour and a half total time. It was pretty amazing to be able to see it. I have read about others splitting and everyone said they are either asleep when it happens or not home. My clown fish is still confused right now. she does not know which one she wants to be with. She has been going back and forth between the two.

THats Great! It is awesome to have Anemone's split, I had A RBTA that split 3-5 times a month! it helps the wild populations to get aquacultured anemones..
