Another new addition... And now, they are hosting!

Your tank is really looking great! That anemone is a beauty, just be careful, I had a carpet get me good once as I innocently reached across to fix something beyond it. Freaky and Painful ! Definately a good reason for gloves.

It got me when I was getting it into the tank. Didn't really hurt that bad, but it only got a couple tentacles on me. I imagine it could be a problem if a bunch of the tentacles got you.

Thanks Nikki, the tank has been up for about 8 months now.

Mine got me on my inner arm, in that sensitive skin area. It tried many times to get my fingers but the skin is so much tougher there I could hardly feel anything, except for a little sticking. This lulled my into a false security about it's stinging capability! I still have the mark on my arm and it took weeks to heal. It's also an odd injury to explain to anyone not involved in reefs

I don't think it is bleached, it is a yellowish-green color. My camera just makes it look a little white. It seems to be healthy. I fed it some Prime Reef food last night and it gobbled down a big chunk.

Here is another photo, but instead of a big chunk of food in the anenome, there is a clownfish hosting in it.
