I have a hydor pico powerhead in my fuge to add a bit more circulation than the gravity fed system I have set up is offering.

Problem is, it fairly quickly gets clogged up with caulerpa.

Any ideas of a way to keep the caulerpa out of the intake? I was thinking outting some sort of screen around it, but haven't thought of a nice and simply solution to do this. If anyone has an idea, I'm all ears :)

Does it actually stop the pump from working all together or just really reduce the flow? This is the one I was telling you that I use in my fuge and it gets a lot of stuff stuck to it but doesn't seem to stop the flow ever.
