I have a MAGNUM PRO 60 canister filter with the dual bio-wheels I know the bio-wheels are not good for reef-keeping, but is the canister of any use.

Sure! That would work well as a carbon filter. Carbon is great for maintaining water clarity.

sounds almost too good to be true! I am in need of a better means of polishing my tank. This may be a good solution.

Okay now I know I can use the canister. As I said before I have a 100 lbs. of dried and cleaned old live rock ,I would like to arrange it so it would come apart in 3 or 4 sections. I will be adding enough live rock to seed it,my question is what kind of epoxy should I use?
