the aqua medic look alike seems to look ok,the only thing i see is that there is no fan. I run a aquamedic 48in. dual 250watt 20,000k with two T5 54w day bulbs. I purchased it from my lps for 600$. Its a older model and has no fan it gets very hot! If you never had HQI then watch out cause the replacement bulbs are pricey and to top it off you cant skimp out and buy the cheap bulbs cuase they wont work. Believe it or not I just bought 2 new 20,000k from South Pacific Lighting and already have returned one bulb twice! At around 90$ a bulb it can be a pain.:evil:
