Im planning on doing some LED tests sussing both cree and stevesleds so i can see for myself how they stack up. They're a third of the price of the Cree so it can be a great way to save money assuming the performance reports are accurate.

So if i get a couple of small arrays built can anyone help me test performance by more than just eyeballing it =)

Im on the north end in Kirkland and I'd guess testing would be at least 3-4 weeks away minimum.

I suppose even a lux meter would tell a lot about performance differences.

I asked the same question a couple months ago..i was told crystalclear125 has the LUX meter..trying sending PM to her.

Is the meter anywhere around that we could use it for a short period? We have T5 lighting with individual reflectors and an Icecap 660 and a lot of people keep asking if it is bright enough to grow SPS and such under it. To my untrained eyes it sure seems bright enough but my eyes are made of coral :) so I don't know. I would like to take some readings to rest my mind and others at ease.

Eric,

Last I heard, CrystalClear125, had the PAR meter..
I would suggest sending her a PM..
