I have had a 10,000 GPH Calpump on my 2000 gallon koi pond back home and at 5 ft head hight on the water fall, water would scream over it. I never had a problem with it and ran it 24/7 for 5 years till we sold the house, still running now.
Im looking at this one I will have about a 14 foot head hight at my house so it would give me about 800-1000 gph with elbos and fitting, throw the 120g 48x24x23? tank. What do you think, to much water going to fast throw the sump? To may watts of power? (121-280 watts)
CalPump-T1500-Torpedo sorry trided to post link but fourm wont let me not enuff post.
PS: this will be my first sump and a basment sump at that witch will make things easyer to work on but harder to get water up to the tank.
