anyone willing to help me

i know this is a little early but i just found out that im going on deployment in aug. i was wondering if there was anyone willing to take care of my tank while im gone its going to be 10 months. I know im not active on the forums anymore i have gone through a lot and managed to keep my tank going during all this crap going on. i live in oak harbor so if anyone close by is willing to help i can compensate you for you troubles

Just wondering how far is Oak Harbor from Tukwila ? And how big is the tank ? What kind of set up ? Just to have an idea how much time will take to do maintenance etc

It's about 2 hours from Everett. The tank is a mixed reef 400g system 250g display. I don't dose anything just do water changes every month. The tank has LEDs for lighting and a mrc skimmer. It's all controlled with an aqua jr. It has auto top off so you will need to just fill the 30g brute with fresh rodi water, I have a typhoon 3 rodi setup and all you will need to do is turn on the hose hook up.

So basically just feed, water change, skimmer cleaning. I would hopefully like someone local my roommate will be here but she has no idea what to do.

A bit of training will go a long way in your case. It would be nice to be in touch with someone who is with the tank on a daily basis.

I'm in Tukwila, so I'm too far to volunteer for anything on a regular basis really, but I will volunteer for 'emergency contact' type stuff if it helps.

This sounds like a job for North Sound Reefers!! where all you guys at with your pretty little banner sigs? lol Seriously, there are some pretty cool cats up that aways, I am sure you will get more than a few offers to help as this thread gains some visibility. Just choose wisely, there was a horror story on here a few years back about a guy who went on deployment and somehow his wife sold or otherwise lost the tank, dont remember the details, but he was none to happy.
