It's time!! Easter this weekend...... and fish club meeting next weekend

We're changing things up a bit, and holding the meeting a little earlier than usual, to hopefully help out some of you out-of-towners.

When: 3 PM, Saturday 4/14
Where: Michael & Angies House (North Spokane)

Discussion Topic: Photography!!

We all know Michael is a photo nut - so he is going to give us some great points on how to use your cameras to get the best photos possible of your tank critters, no matter what kind of camera you use! Be sure to bring your camera to the meeting for some great hands on troubleshooting to help you pick good photo subjects, use the right photo settings, and set your custom white balance.

Also, for those members at the meeting we will be holding a members only raffle for some donated frags - actual frags will be posted next week! Be there or be square!

Reminder - our meeting is Saturday!!

To make it more fun we are running two "contests"

#1 is a members-only raffle for some SPS frags, including this mini-colony of ATL Rommel Rainbow Millepora -

and #2 is a contest, "Show off your coral pics from the meeting" - post your favorite photo you took from the meeting based on Michael's advice on our forum (Spokane Coeur d Alene Reef Society » Inland Northwest reefers dedicated to education through experience in the reefkeeping hobby.). The best photo, as determined by our forum moderators, will be given a free full year membership in SPCDAReefs.

And - be sure to bring you cash or credit cards to buy your memberships at the meeting! We are always adding new members, and being a member gives you the opportunity to take advantage of awesome discounts with our sponsors as well as participate in members only raffles.

Ohhhh and we have another raffle donation!!

The member-only raffle winner will be able to take home a hammer coral colony (donated by an awesome local hobbyist who wishes to be unnamed for now), and the ATL Rommel Rainbow millepora

We will see what else we add at the meeting – it pays to go to the meetings!! Bring your cash (or card) so you can buy a handful of raffle tickets!
