Does anyone know anything about this unit? I have the opportunity to get one at a great price...FREE!! But I'd like to know everything I can about it before hand. This unit was taken from a Pet Smart as it was being remodeled. Any info would be appreciated!!!

Aquafine Ultraviolet Disinfection Unit
Aquafine Corp., Valencia, CA
made in USA EPA Est.39794-CA-01
P/N-11820

Model # DW-300
Serial # ES97113
Voltage 118
Amps 0.28
Hertz 60
947

there is a drawing showing parts with names of same.
there is a "lamp out alert" indicator light.

instructions (steps 1 - 10) for servicing procedures to clean quartz sleeve and to replace UV lamp (6 month intervals) are attached to top of unit hood.

there is a unit service log with space to record 3 dates of service for date lamp installed and 6 month lamp change due date and the same info and reminder for quartz sleeve cleaning.

Dimensions:
length: 20"
width: (depth, actually): 4 1/8"
height: 6 1/2"

the pvc fittings (flow inlet and flow outlet) mount to treatment chamber and stick out 2 1/2" to 3 1/2". I would have to replace fittings at outer end of each.

I would also have to replace or repair power cord. Those damages occured during dismantling. they just cut them out from installation site.

That's about all I see listed on unit, other than some safety precautions re: radiation and electrical.

It refers you to owner's manual. Maybe I can get one from the company.

Wow this is an old thread!!!!
I just got my hands on one of these units. Did you end up using yours?
If so how does it work? How much flow do you have going into it?
Is the unit even suitable for saltwater use?
