I recently purchased a GEO calcium reactor. The recirculating part of the system uses an Ehiem for bring the solution from the bottom of the media and up thru the media. The instructions indicate that for the feed from the sump to the reactor supply line that an Aqualifter be used.
My question is.... Is an Aqualifter enough pump to supply a reactor rated for a 3oo gall tank?? Someone suggested a MJ 1200 but I would think that GEO would not specify a Aqualifter if it isnt going to perform.
Does anyone here use this type of pump on thier Calc reactor, or do you think this pump will work. The reason I ask is I have an aqualifter so it would be cool if it is sufficient.
