I have a 24 gal. Aquapod and need additional flow in the tank. I plan to upgrade the powerhead to a 900 or 1200, but can't afford to right now. I have purchased (2) 3" lengths of 'ball tubing' and two flare nozzles, but the 1/2" y-fitting I purchased does not fit the plastic piece comming off the back wall of the tank(if anyone knows what I'm talking about..lol). The y-fitting has actually been nearly destroyed in an attempt to make it fit. I need help getting two directions of flow in my tank. My fish aren't doing too great because of a lack of aeration, and the tank gets a little warm, too. I'm hoping the bi-directional flow will help. Any ideas or info???
