Are these the same???

I was looking on the internet at frags.org, and they have a scrolling coral called turbinaria. Are turbinaria the same thing as montipora capricronis? Same Family??

Those corals are quite a bit different. The turbinaria is a much slower grower, and has much larger polyps that are spread out vs. the monti that has tiny polyps tightly packed. I will let others expand on that.

Here is a yellow scroll, it is related to the pangoda cup coral. It is totally different from a montipora coral.

Thats beautiful! I like the bigger polyps vs. the smaller polyps on my monti cap, but I still like the cap also!
