ASM G3 Gate valve mod

Does anyone know the size of the parts needed to construct my own ASM gate valve mod? Anyone have instructions to do this? I figure I can beat the $40 price for the pieces that I found online.

It's 1-1/4" Stuff. It's pretty easy to do.

I don't have the exact directions but looking at these pictures should give a idea how to assembly the parts.

The biggest thing you might have trouble finding is the gate valve. I looked all the big box hardware stores and couldn't find any. You might be able to find one at the a plumb only type store.

Thanks! I will give that a try...perhaps I just need to bite the bullet and get the kit for the gate valve.

just buy the kit, you dont save that much doing it yourself...
we should have similar kits available at barrier reef, as soon as we receive our gate valves
