Hey thanks for reading,

looking for info on how deep the asm g-3 skimmer can go into a sump. Would like to know so I can determine if I need to build a shelf for it and what my height requirements are.

Thanks again,

ken

It should be ok as long as the water is a inch or 2 below the hartford loop.

Hey BigT,

That would be great info if I had one sitting in front of me so I could measure how deep that would be ;) . Got a guess in inches for me?

I have no idea, never had or even seen one. I would go w/ brads guess. I personally run a needle wheel skimmer w/ a hartford loop to set the height and my sump water is 12" deep and the skimmer is 25" tall. Does that help.

Hi -
I have a g-3 and my water level is steady at about 10 1/2'' but it could easily go as high as 14'' if needed. Hope this helps!
