ASM Skimmer setup

I just bought an ASM G-3 yesterday (Thanks Carl!)

I got it plugged in, and as soon as the pump starts running, water starts bubbling over the top and rapidly filling the collection cup. I have tried adjusting the foam tube up and down, but nothing happens.

Anyone had this issue? The sedra pump seems to be running fine, and I have the thing setup according to the manufacturar's diagram.

Thoughts?

sound like the air inlet is plugged

Do you mean the larger tube with the foam piece, or the small air inlet tube that goes to the pump? I will check both

Got it working last night! The pump wasn't fully seated in the intake pipe I think. It is working great!
