There has been suspicious activity on the PSAS financial accounts that have required us to launch a fraud investigation. Due to this we have had to temporarily suspend the Paypal account until these matters are concluded. I will be sure to post up when the matter is resolved and things are back to normal. Signing up for 2011/2012 has already begun. Unfortunatly at this time we cannot run membership purchases through paypal and memberships will have to either be at the next meeting (3rd sat in sept) or by other means. until we have this issue resolved.

Does this have to do with the hackers and wikileaks thing?

I read a warning online last week that a hacker group said that they had hacked paypal and everyone should stop using the Paypal immediately or suffer the consequences. I think it was the same people who hacked the Playstation network. They were upset because Paypal wouldn't allow their site to be used for donations that went to Wikileaks.

I almost cancelled my Paypal account, but figured they would be going after buisnesses and not individuals. Maybe I'll head over there and change my password...

Possibly. There was suspicious activity on the PSAS bank account that is linked to the Paypal. The activity followed shortly after a paypal payment we sent out to a business.
