We have been offer a possible shipment of Austrailian Corals that are due into us Monday May 7th. Keep checking back on the status of this shipment. As known Austrailian Corals are not offered in the industry all the time. We will keep everyone posted!

if u recive a shipment of austalian corals it would be illegal as our laws are very strict u can not ship in invertbrates reptiles or any foriegn speices for hobby purposes and shiping out is the same the only way u could get australian corals is if its from a bali shiper as there reef and the n.western reef of austalia are very a like best other bet would be some one in PNG as PNG is even closer to australia u could possbly get stuff that grows around the N.T. and the west of queensland but is not the same reef as the barrier reef.
only 5% of the barrier reef is aloud for collection with most of this going to local aquariums and then being distubted to lfs so if u do get sum coral from "austailian" waters it wont be from the barrier reef

Morgan,
Its just not Blue Sierra that is importing them.
Australia seemed to have changed their regulation to allow some exportation of corals. There is a bunch of stores in Canada and the US that seems to have them available recently.

u can get a permit to ship to america but thats incredbly expensive and hard to get
how much do the corals go for more expensive then other peices of the same coral?

They typically are more expensive.
The only coral I have seen with any regularity from Australia are elegances
and they are quite a bit more expensive than the indo variety.

Most the coral out of Aust. did seem to be a bit for expensive. All beacuse of freight. Freight is about 20% higher per kilo to ship into Los Angeles
