Auto top off

Can anyone explain how I can set up an auto top off for my storage water bins? I recently purchased an rodi filter and already made the mistake of forgetting to shut it off after my container was full and ended up with a garage floor full of water. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The spectrapure website has a few styles and prices.... they also have diagrams on how to hook them up.

May I suggest a small (1/2") bulkead fitting toward the top of the can, with 3/8" plastic refrigerator tubing to carry the overflow water to a safe place? (like outside)

I agree with Don on the float valve, but disagree on the vendor. Filter Guys want $15 for it, while US Plastic will only charge you $7.36.

The shipping on one from US plastics brings the price up to $14.12. However they offer a quantity discount (15% if 12 are bought) and the shipping per item is less in bulk. At a quantity of 12 the price each with shipping is $8.98. I know I need 2 of these anybody else interested in a possible group buy?
