this helped me Identify what I had happen in my tank last week. I knew I had a sucessfull batch of baby fish but I had no idea what they were and with having a pair of Dispar Anthias, Leopard Wrasses,I was able to narrow down my Golden Neon (Gobiosoma evelynae) pair was busy at work. I am sorry to say in this tank these babys were not able to be saved the miniute the lights went on the Anthias went on a feeding frenzie  I tried to get some in my overflow but I was unable to save them I have gotten a brood net-pen so I hope to be redy next time. If anyone has raised these little guys please help me out with suggestion on how to feed them when they were in my tank they would suspend about 1-2" under the top and they seemed to be feeding in my water colume?they also would mainly try to stay just under the lighted portions of the tank.. a very interesting fish for sure.:)

Sounds like an interesting experience, I'm sure you can get more input on trying to be more successful, seems like you already have a good start, hope you can post some success picks next time :)

that is so cool. great job I hope it works out for you to collect them the next time.

Nice to see your gobies spawned in your tank! Sorry to hear you werent able to save any of them this time around, but hopefully you can save some of the next batch.

Thanks for the kinds words, but all I really did was add to things, alot of that was already in place. Nikki did alot of it IIRC.

Nick
