Baby Turbo

Hey guys I found a new addition to our tank this afternoon. A little baby turbo snail. He is extremely fast running around the tank.

My question is will they grow a shell? I'm thinking they will but I just want to make sure that I don't need to get them a shell or anything.

All snails grow a shell as they get older. When they hatch they are free floating and many get caught up in the filtration of the tank and that's why they don't survive. What amkes you think it's a baby turbo?

It looks exactly like our turbo's (from what you can see) and it has a little purple top where the shell is. The same shape and color as the turbo's just smaller.

Sounds like you are good to go. The shell should develop larger as it grows.
