Just wondering what everyone uses for a power source in case of an emergancey. I just bought a 750 watt power inverter, more than enough to run my pump, heater and one 400 w light. Not so concerend about the light as I am with circulantion and heat.
 
My immediate concern in a power outtage is keeping the O2 levels up. After that, I can make the rest happen. To that end, I purchased several Penn Plax B-11 battery powered airpumps. You plug them in and the battery activates the airpump in the event of a power failure.
The ultimate goal is to purchase a good generator in the event of a power outtage.
