Ok after upgrading my skimmer I now hold the opinion that the Aqua-c Remora is a complete piece of S$%t. I am not even going to sell this skimmer because I don't want to do that to anyone! If you have one save your penny's and upgrade asap!

How long has it been running, it may takes a couple of weeks for it to break in. Contact the manufacture, they have great customer service and will help with any issues that you are having.

Everyone says that about them but for some reason mine really kicks it on my 34g tank!

What pump do you have on it?
Have you cleaned the injector head?
I extended the intake tube from the MJ1200 & it made a big difference.

Remora's come in two ways. One way is they skim mediocre but work. This would fall into a 5-10% rate. The other 90-95% get the complete waste as they either don't skim at all or they just flood with water. And no a pump upgrade won't help, nor will cleaning out the injector or poping out the screw. You have the 90-95% remora there.

i had this thing on one tank for years and on another for many months, different pumps. Plain and simple , it sucks
