I was wondering if there were a better needlewheel impeller that would work in the Gen-X 1000 pump that came with the Mini G? The pump seems to work just fine, ie plenty of water and air. The bubbles just dont seem to be fine enough to create good foam.

Would one of the needlewheel impellers from, say, a sedra 2500 work? Any others? Anyway, just an idea. Thanks for any help.

I doubt they would fit. I would remove the back cover on your gx1k and see if the metal plate is partially exposed.
