I just set up a 45 gallon saltwater tank. I noticed after all the clouds settled that some carbon (from Emperor 400) got in the tank. There is not a lot. Is this damaging should I try to fish it out. Another question I have is every time I disturb the sand (even it or try to get carbon out) the tank gets realllll cloudy. Is this always going to be the case or is this just because it is a new tank (48 hours).

i think if i was you i'd remove the carbon, but i'm not an expert so i'd wait to see what someone else has to say :) .
About the cloudy look ... yes, if you stir the sand really good everytime you do a water change, it's gonna look like that for a few hmm depends on how much sand you got ....hours or minutes.
how deep is your sand bed?
I'm sure that after you learn about sand beds... you'll go like the others .... bare bottom :) .
ohh yeah and WELCOME TO RF DOOD!! :D

It wont hurt anything I would suck it out though just for looks. Also the tank will be cloudy for a bit every time you stir it for a few months till the fine silt is filtered out
