My last one was murdered and thrown out of the tank by a female maroon clown. The maroon also assasinated my last six-line. Needless to say I no longer have her.
I originally thought the blenny and six-line jumped but one day I caught her in the act. She was carying the male maroon around the tank in her mouth like a great white then she would swim to the topof the tank and spit them out. I'm assuming the fish were so scared that they kept swimming upwards to run away and ended up carpet diving
Hey if anyone wants those zoos cheap shoot me a pm
He has such personality. I think by far bleenies are the coolest, ugly as sin but very personable. He likes to ride the powerhead streams like it's flippin wild waves
How pink are the rings? and how big is the colony? If the pink is actual pink then I will take it. I don't want a hint of pink, I want to be able to look at it and have people say nice pink.
Bobby
Just a guess but I would say at least 100 if not more?...The rock is roughly 4 inches deep and around 6 inches in length. Pink enough that my girlfriend originally bought them =), actinics will really make them stand out.
Reed - I'm not 100% sure but I think my anemone might have eaten mine; that's my best guess at least since I've yet to ever find a carcas outside of the tank. It just happened overnight, he was there on a Sunday and gone Monday morning.
Chris - Mine did the same thing with the powerheads ; and I agree about their great personalities...I think I'm going to have to get a new one when I get my new tank up.
i was just wondering if any of you have had your lawnmower hang out in your clams because mine will sit in my 4"+ crocea for long periods without any reaction from the clam he also get pretty cozy with my LTA for as long as the clowns will tolerate him, is this normal? plus mine eats any prepared food i put in the tank.
esmith, I'm breaking my tank down soon to move so if you want "Blenny-Man" I'm sure we can arrange something. Just don;t let him get eaten or dissapear again =)
I got rid of anemone following this suspected incident (and because the damn thing was over 11" when fully open), so if it was the anemone who ate him...nothing to worry about.
