I've done this befor!
I had a freind bring a dog over and fleas were infested in hours!
What I had to do was unplug EVERYTHING for the three hours the bombs were going off
and cover the tank with heavey towels (only a 29 gallon) or a thick blanket then just open windows and air out for a little bit then uncover and turn back on!
My tank was FINE!!!

To be safe, you'd need to just about hermetically seal the tank from the rest of the home. Plastic around the tank and even taped to the floor or stand. I would look into other solutions if possible.

I did it in the past. I covered the tank with a tarp. It ended up killing all shrimp. Everything else made it just fine. Covering the tank is not good enough. You would need to seal it.

Really need better than just wrapping the tank. Need outside air blowing into the wrapped tank to keep positive pressure. This keeps the toxins out and ensures sufficient gas exchange to keep the Ph from crashing. Can use a small vaccume cleaner with an exhaust port

ya thats bout right mike... if you rap it up.. then put postive air Psi from the out side.. (fresh clean air)
it would insure that the chemicals dont make it in,
