Normally we use bug bombs in our house at the start of summer to keep the bugs away. Now that we have our coral reef we don't want to do that because we are afraid of killing the tank. Does anyone know of any bug bombs or fog gets that are fish and reef safe?

Coffee grounds outside your house on the primiter. Is going to keep away ants and whatnot. But that's what I was told.

wrape the tank with plastic sealing off any voids than set off your bomb than remove carfully when it's safe
thats what I do when exterminator comes
never had a issue with any of my tanks doing this

used. you can get grounds from most coffee places for free. I know vics on camp Murray gives them away.

I wonder how the ocean reefs survive with ships dumping who knows what and inland run off from who knows where. Corals seem to be pretty tough unless you drop a bomb in the tank or allow a large amount mist access. Why not bomb every where but the fish room and try something different in the fish room IMHO. It seems we as people are as sensitive as marine creatures it seems.
