Bulkhead strainers

Does anyone know where to get bulkhead strainers like this in sizes other than for a JT 1" bulk head?

I'd like to put two 1 1/2" bulkheads for a feed to my CL and do not care for the look of the standard type of strainer that's available out there.

I picked up some nice 4" i think strainers from ace hardware. The base is 2" but the head is like 4. here is a pic. kinda hard to see but they are on the back wall. The are used for my closed loop and work great.

That looks like a bath tube drain? That would work great large intake with the strainer.

Hey Ryan, you should check out Hot Tub & Spa Dealer/Supply places. They probably have several sizes and Designer Colors to boot

There was a thread a while back where someone made there own out of acrylic.
Nice and big so fish wouldn't get trapped by the suction.

Flex PVC has the one's I was really looking for. Worst thing is I know a place local that said he wanted $35 for the bulkhead/strainer combo...

Hey bigblue..

When I was setting up my system originally, I was going to do 1.5" drains. Ended up doing 1", so I have a heavy duty 1.5" bulkhead sitting around that I don't need. If you happen to be in seattle, you should take it off my hands. I'd rather it get used in your system than sit around in my plumbing box for all time.
