It might be easier to buy prefab doors in the cabinet isle at Home Depot. Sand them & strain them the way you want. My buddy did that he's really happy with them and they look really good.

Well the size is a bit strange so I'm not sure a prefab door would work. Besides then it wouldn't be DIY and DonW wouldn't be proud of me :lol:

That is true, When I built mine, I used 3/4" Oak Ply skined the out side with solid Oak & then I used Euro Hinges.

Do a search for cabinet doors on the web. There a number of places that do custom raised panel doors in any size they are about 30 bucks each. I just finished making 4 of em out of maple for my new canopy.
