hello all

i have just set up my aquamedic 1000 calcium reactor and the dkh coming outta the reactor is 17dkh.

how do i raise it also i have 1 buble a second coming out not using a controller at present

This is far from my specialty but Ill give it a go.

In order to bring the DKH up in your effluent (up to about 40 DKH I believe). You either need to raise your bubble count or lower your drip rate in order to allow more contact time between the water and the media in the reactor.
It sounds like your bubble rate is at one per second to I would recommend choking back the feed pump. If you are reffering to the drip rate as one per second then increase the amount CO2 you are putting into the reactor.
