Clean pure aragonite (coral skeletons). Some brands are better than others (less phosphate, etc), depends on what you want to spend.
As a rule, I used to buy the brands that the manufacturer recommended. Korillin, CaribSea, Rowa,Bulk reef supply all fairly decent.
 
When it comes to any coral type media its going to be super saturated with P no matter what, just a function of its growth in the first place. So with that understood one looks at different types melting points to reduce the amount of gas you need and then to avoid anything with shells in it as they tend to have even more P bound to their matrix. I know that rowa melts at around 6 ph and carib sea is around 6.5 but not sure on the others.

Also it does depend on your reactor, if its fluidised then small sand like media is desired, if straight top down or visa versa the folks usually go big in the first and small in the second.
