Hi, I just recently bought a Korallin C1502 Model. I hooked up all the tube lines except the only part was I didn't see any circulation from the media. The question is does the media have to be moving up or down (circulating) or does it stay the same(not moving). As my observation, the pump is running but I do not see any circulating movements from media. If you had the experience with this kind of model please tell me how to. Thanks in advance. P.S. I assumed the impeller was broken as the pump is running, but no sign of water movement from the bottom to the top.

All most all calcium reactors are not fluidized (except for the deltec) so what the pump does is to just recirc the water as the Ph lowers, kind of like a closed loop. Their is an article on the front page of the site that gives a good explanation on how they work, take a peek if you haven't yet. Calcium reactors are a little tricky and can kill a tank in a heart beat if not set up and monitored properly.
