calcium reactor....set up for a 55 gal?

hey all

As some people know I have just started my 55 gal tank again and I am thinking about getting a reactor rather then adding every other day.

Here is the problem...I have no idea how to set one up or what I need. I have been looking on line and trying locally with no luck but I still don't know how to set one up.

I have herd there is co2 that has to be added but I am not how big a tank I need. I can get my hands on 20oz tanks no problem (paintball the other thing I do that my wife hates) and I can get them filled every weekend with no problems.

Can anyone help me out here

before you add one, do you need one? Are you testing and finding that it is too low? If your not testing and/or the tests show acceptable levels, then there is no need to use one.
