Calendar feature

As requested I finally figured out how to get the calendar function up and running and I had made it available to all to add events and sales and so on. So if you go to the front page and in the navigation box you will see the calendar link. Click it and you will be sent to the calendar page where you can view any events/sales/whatever that folks have enter. If clubs or sponsors have events going please fell free to add them at your leasure.

Checked it out this morning and looks pretty good! Not sure if the birthday's are going to be an issue or not, but when I did view it earlier, the birthday's kinda took over the screen and you had to weed through it to find the up-coming events. Might be something we may need to adjust possibly if it becomes an issue for others. Just a thought

Yea I can get rid of them no problem, I will do that now.

That's not bad. Obviously, everything isn't going to be displayed on the calendar page but you can click on the link to bring up an item or click on the number to bring up everything that's going down that day. Works for me.

Yea Mike why dont you pass it around to the clubs and see if they would like to use it.

I just added 6 events to Jan 26th. The first 5 display as individual events that you can click on. The 6 event causes a summary message to be displayed (Events(6)) and you can click on the day to bring them all up. They pop up in a list with the name of the event and whatever comments were entered by the user. I'm betting you could stick a link in there to a workshop thread or site. It works for me.

I'll spread the work I suppose.

Yea the 5 was an setting, i redid it to 6 to check it. Form what I understand you can add all sorts of things to it also.

Hey Mojo. If someone asks you why you threatened to hang around outside my house and crap in my yard if folks don't use the calendar...well, just roll with it because I just told some folks that's what you threatened to do if they didn't use the calendar. We'll see what kind of response we get.

Now that could be a very scary sight!!. Its up to folks but I think for clubs and stores it could be a cool idea.
