Camera suggestion

Hi, I'm just looking for a general Digital camera suggestion that is macro capable and relatively easy to learn that is under 300$. Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks for the help!

See the current thread "My clowns FINALLY hosted in RBTA....pics" for some pictures taken with a Kodak DZ7590. There are several cameras of this type with 10 to 12 X optical zooms for around $300 to $400 that seem to have good macro capability.

www.steves-digicams.com has pretty extensive reviews.

I am looking myself and don't have any firsthand experience with any of them.
