Can you feed a BTA too much?

My bta seems to be growing and not pooping that much. I fed it every 3 days this week. Part of a silverside each time. Is this too much?

I think that's a fairly good feeding schedule.

I feed mine once a week at the most. It all depends on what you want. Do you want it to grow huge and maybe split if so feed it allot if you want it to not grow as fast don't feed it as much.

I never fed mine for couple of years, just let the clowns take care of it.

Then I did target feed it on a whim with regular food my fish get.


In a couple of weeks it quadrupled in size and took over one whole corner of my tank.

I created a monster.:shock:

I don't feed it anymore.

Hummmmmmmm..........I am creating a monster. But he always looks hungry.
