Hello,
I purchased a brute container for holding ro/di water. I am a bit concerned about leaching and though about putting some carbon or Rowaphos in a filter sock and floating in the reservoir. Then I thought it might be easier to just put a couple cups of DI resin beads in a filter sock and float them in the container. Does anybody do anything like this? Any thoughts on if there would be a benefit?

Well, I first I do not see it as an issue. Second GFO or DI resin won't do much good, as these pick up ions and not molecules. To be on the safe side, from possible manufacturing processes I would spray it down with 100 % bleach and let it sit for an hr, rinse it out well in hot water, re-spray the walls with 100 % vinegar and rinse the same.
