Carbon turned tubing black.

So i rinsed my kent marine reef carbon very well. Like for 20 minutes. It is currently running in a media reactor. Question is, Is it bad that it turned my clear vinyl tubing black behind my tank..?

Also the water is crystal clear.

I had that happen to mine also, never had issues. I don't think it is necessary to rinse that long either, get the most dust off it & let her rip. If it clouds then next time do it a little more but it shouldn't harm anything.

Cool thanks just wasn't sure if the residue in the tubes would leech over time.

I use BRS ROX8 for that reason, bit more money but well worth it
