caught the crab in a beer glass

I finally caught the elusive rock crab with a pint beer glass and some Rod's food in a small bait holder. Thanks Cy (from Barrier) for the great tip. I am two for two on crabs in beer glasses now. I just want others who have destructive crabs hiding in their live rock to know that this works.

Excellent Idea, I gotta try that. What type of bait holder did you use Bob?

I used a small 1/2" pvc elbow with bait stuffed in and saran wrap on the ends and a rubber band. I poked holes in the saran wrap so the scent could get out. The pvc sinks to the bottom of the glass and the fish can't get to it. I put some of that Rod's food in for bait.

Nice, thanks Bob. I believe I'll try this to catch the crab in my tank...at least I think I have only one.
