So I have a red chalice with green (maybe yellow) eyes (being color blind doesn't help this) and there are actually two frags on the plug. Will they merge being the same exact coral or are they two different pieces and I should move the smaller off the frag and relocate it?
Sorry about the bad pic but my phone takes the best pics and zooming doesn't work so well with it. :) Neither does cropping in the editor to get a close up.
You get the idea though.

Thanks. They are growing larger and thus closer together so I thought I'd ask before they start bumping into each other and competing for space on the frag and the rock.

there are probably 10-20 different species of coral all commonly classified as "chalices".... so, like mentioned above, if from the same colony, OK, but if not, I'd watch them super close..... different species can easily kill others, or grow at different paces so one will just cover up the other.

They look the exact same and came on the same frag plug when I got them so I'm guessing they are but thanks for the heads up. I'll keep a close eye on them now that they're encroaching in on each other.
