Ok, so we know that chillers are heat exchangers. The question is if you have your Chiller outside operating year round Are you making any difference with the power on since its a heat exchanger when its colder outside than your tank operatiing temperature? :confused:
 
Yes It makes a diffrence

I to noticed Ed with my Prime chillers with the cooler temps the compressors cycled Alot Less HTH...Jeff

Yes, you may leave your chiller outside. But please note: with these cold temps the chiller may not be able to keep the head pressure up if it is not equiped with an low ambient control. (fan cycling control) You need to watch your tank temps just as closely as you would in the summer.
