We just bought one in the classifieds, and I am so excited! Since it's been getting pretty hot here lately, and my tank temp was getting up there again. It was running at about 84 after turning the halides on, so I could only leave them on for a couple of hours and put saltwater ice cups in the sump. 1/2 hp is an overkill for my 72 gallon, but hey...it works great! LOL
