I have noticed over the last 3-4 months maybe longer that one of my oldest clam's doesn't have the color it had when i first bought the clam. The clam is 3-4 years old and has greatly lost its color. I used to dose iodine but no-longer dose this supplement and I am wondering if this could have contributed to the problem. I do monthly water changes of 20% and the clam is currently under 250w halides.
I also have another clam 4-5 years old which also has the same problem in one of my smaller tanks. This clam is under pc's 1 50/50 bulb and 1 10k bulb. (Both clams are crocea)
Thanks any help or idea's are greatly welcomed.
