Clown tang compatibility

Is it possible to keep a clown tang with a sohal tang? The Sohal is about 6" I also have a powder blue with the sohal that is about 5 1/2 inches but this could be moved to another tank if necessary. my tank is 260 gal.

I'd say give it a try!! Unless u have lotsa live rock and corals dat could get upset if they had to be moved wen catching fish! Clown tangs are soooo cool!!

Being that the clown and the PB are both in the acanthurus sp. i would not give it a try unless you were to QT them together. Another thing to think about is that clown tangs are ich magnets and you will want to make sure and put him in QT for a while and be ready to treat for anything that could go wrong. Hope that helps a little bit.

Wait, i didnt even see that it was a sohal :shock:...that is even worse. I deffinently wouldnt put him in there unless you knew for sure that the sohal didnt attack new arrivals, and even at that be cautious. I think your best bet would be to somehow add them at the same time.
