Cobalt Neo-Therm heater

I was wondering if anyone out there is familiar with the Cobalt Neo-Therm heaters. If so, can you tell me if they can be placed horizontally in your sump? I read somewhere where it says they need to be set up vertically. I was wondering if that was true. Thanks.

I would assume any submersible heater could be placed in any orientation.
If it can't, I would not use it.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking. But when I read this, I was like uh oh. Because I really like the heater and would love to pick one up.

Just today I've seen 2 different threads on another forum where people are having problems with this brand of heater.
