compact fluorescent bulbs

I've got an aquarium fixture for 2 200w compact fluorescents with mogul base and 2 96w PC bulbs. Where do you get the cf's like that and what color temp?? 10000k seems to be hard to find.

Are you sure they are 200w CF bulbs. Metal halide bulbs I know have mongul base. Its probably a 250watt or 175 watt metal halide bulb. 10k is probably the most common but it all depends on what you want as far as color goes. I went last time with 20k and 50/50 PC bulbs. I am thinking of going back to 10k and super actinic bulbs.

I would check a hydroponic site they should have what your looking for.

I'm with lvsuckerfish, Those are originally intended for hydroponic use and its going to be hard to find anything beyond a 10k bulb but they can be found.

correct , what i've found is 6500k so far from the hydroponic guys.
