In my 75gl. compatability is a real concern. To save space I like to group corals of the same species together. Tell me about your experience with coral compatability. Which types can live in harmony with each other, and which ones battle to the death. My hammer could'nt live with the torch, so I had to move them apart (*^#@#!). I have two types of xenia together though with no problems. I'm hoping pink and blue millepora are O.K.. What about your montipopra capricornus's. I've seen two colors intertwined without ill effects, but I've seen a cap. kill an encrusting montipora.....? Are different mont. digitata compatable? My whole tank is based on the rainbow colored groups of like-species coral theory. I hope my plan does'nt go sour, I have some killer frag combos in the works! Thanks for your input!

When ever my SPS grow together, someone wins and someone loses. Some battles are quicker then others. The only harmony I have ever see in my tank was to different types of Elegance corals. I have a Pink and Green Pocillipora grown together, but slowly the Green over takes their shared section and both are growing in opposite directions.

Good Luck
