Convert VHS to digital?

Does anyone know, or have the equipment to convert a VHS recording to digital so that it can be loaded to youtube?

I have a program called Studio which came with a usb device that would hook up to a vcr and then to the computer which though the studio program you could digitally capture what ever was on the tape. I still use it because Im transferring all of our kids video to dvd. HTH.

Tools to help you out is divx-digest.com ... once you do get it on the pc as data you may want to figure out what formats you want to go with

Cutting Joining tools and format conversion tools can be found at this site. Also if you ever downloaded a video ..anime ..movies and the format wasn't recognized by Windows Media..

The players there and codecs pack can help

A bit off side topic...but Im pretty sure you will want some of these tools there to toy with the videos.
