Copper In Tank

Hey all, I purchased a 125 used about a 1 year ago and they said they used copper in it , as of now it's fish only but what are the chances of me turning it into a reef? And what is a good media to get it out?

You should be Ok but you should have scrubbed it with Vinegar. Just get some activated carbon to be safe and some Polyfilters. The poly's will turn blue if there is coopper.

Is there rock from that tank, or just the bare equipment?

It will be just the tank , no rocks or sand, I'm planning on transfering my 100g reef to it .
